Granville Island is one of the city’s top attractions for locals and visitors alike. As Metro Vancouver’s population and tourism industry have grown, so have the number of trips to Granville Island.

To better manage medium and large tour bus traffic, Granville Island implemented a new Tour Bus Policy in 2018. The regulations helped improve traffic congestion from bus operations on the Island.

To further improve vehicle flow, Granville Island is implementing a new policy to better manage tour van traffic on the Island. The new tour van policy will take effect June 1, 2019.
