Event Website Listing

The Public Affairs and Programming team at CMHC-Granville Island regularly updates event listings on Granville Island.com. If you are hosting an event on Granville Island that is open to the public, you are welcome to submit your event listing to Information Services. Please fill out the application form below 6-8 weeks before your event, so we have sufficient lead time for translation before posting.

Social media event support

We have daily opportunities for event producers to be included in our social media content. Event producers wishing to promote an event can submit their content to Granville Island with the potential to have it posted, and engage with a large audience. To do so, please review the guidelines and then complete the application form below 3-4 weeks before your event, so we have sufficient lead time for scheduling.

CMHC provides free advertising space for events occurring on Granville Island. If you would like to display a poster for your event, submit an application at least 6 weeks prior; content must be approved by CMHC before installation. Priority is as follows: CMHC events, Cultural Partner Events, Public Events, Tenants; after that, space is given on a first come, first serve basis. Posters are displayed for one week; if space allows, additional time may be requested. Maximum of 2 posters per event, 1 poster for tenants. Posters are installed and removed on Mondays. Specifications: 48 inches wide by 72 inches long.

banner application form

CMHC offers free banner space, available on either side of the bridge, at the entrance to Granville Island. If you would like to display a banner promoting an event, submit an application at least 6 weeks prior; content must be approved by CMHC before installation. Banners are displayed for 1 week; if space allows, additional time may be requested. Priority is as follows: CMHC events, Cultural Partner Events, Public Events. Space is given on a first come, first serve basis. Banners will be displayed no sooner than 1 week before the event begins. Durable material is suggested for banners as they may be subjected to heavy winds and rain. Banners are hung and removed on Mondays. Specifications: 40 feet long by 4 feet wide.
