COVID-19

Our visitors’ safety and well being is our highest priority on Granville Island.

COVID-19 is being effectively monitored, controlled and treated in British Columbia and Canada.  The Public Health Agency of Canada is actively monitoring the situation and working with the World Health Organization and other international partners.  As such, the risk of transmission in Metro Vancouver, where Granville Island is located, is low. Vancouver remains a safe and welcoming destination for all travelers.

In line with direction from global health authorities, we are taking precautionary measures to help stop the spread of virus, including increased levels of cleaning and disinfection in all common areas and continual monitoring of reputable government sources for the most up-to-date information and escalation requirements.

We strongly encourage our visitors to check the latest available information before travelling.
